There were 49 non-Hispanic Black students enrolled in Hardin County school districts in the 2024-25 school year, 2.1% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.

Data showed that Hardin County school districts welcomed 3,789 students during the 2024-25 school year. Among them, non-Hispanic Black students comprised 1.3% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the county’s school districts.
