On the eve of Alumni Weekend, Heidelberg University hosted the annual Heritage Society Dinner – the first gathering since 2019 due to the pandemic – gathered to honor donors who, through their execution of planned gifts, have generously provided ongoing support for the university and especially for its students.
“Fashion chose me. It’s always been in me. It’s always what I’ve done,” says Diary of Queen Esther founder Shelena Racquel. “I don’t get dressed in the mirror; I get dressed in my mind. That’s just how my mind works. I’m always thinking about how something will look.” Racquel, a designer, model, e-commerce entrepreneur and now boutique owner takes pride in dressing women both fashionably and functionally with her designs.
Students from rural communities who may have thought the road to a bachelor’s degree was unattainable to them now will have a clear pathway to Heidelberg University.
The City of Euclid has entered an innovative partnership with NXTGEN Clean Energy Solutions to explore environmentally friendly options that will help Euclid meet its “sustainable lakefront city” goals. Euclid, a current member of the Power a Clean Future Ohio (PCFO) campaign, has made an ongoing commitment to reduce carbon footprint, attract clean energy, implement equitable policy solutions and reduce energy costs citywide.
