There were two petroleum and coal products manufacturing businesses in Ohio that had 500 or more employees in 2016, according to County Business Patterns (CBP) statistics provided by the United States Census Bureau.

CBP data indicates that there are more establishments categorized as manufacturing businesses with 500 or more employees in Ohio than in any other category.
