68 percent of applicants to Ohio Northern University were admitted for fall 2018

At Ohio Northern University, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Ada enrolled 3,039 students in fall 2018, including 2,297 in undergraduate and 742 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

82 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 17 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (78 percent) and Black or African American (3 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 4,334 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
