73 percent of applicants to Heidelberg University were admitted for fall 2018

At Heidelberg University, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Tiffin enrolled 1,219 students in fall 2018, including 1,047 in undergraduate and 172 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

81 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 19 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and Black or African American (9 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 1,757 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 26 percent enrolled.
