Cost of college went up for all students at Heidelberg University

Tuition and fees rose 2.6 percent for 2018-19 at Heidelberg University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $31,000 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $800 more than the $30,200 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 319 students received grants or scholarships totaling $6.2 million and 268 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,219), 1,024 students used grants or scholarships totaling $18.9 million, and 967 students took out $9 million in federal student loans.
