City of Findlay issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city. The status of some of the projects is weather and contractor schedule permitting. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from September 13, 2020 through September 18, 2020.
SIXTH STREET- Brookside Drive to Main Street – Sixth Street will be closed to through traffic from Brookside Drive to Main Street. Access to the businesses and residents on Sixth Street between Blanchard Street and Washington Ave. will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property.
CR 236 – Lakeview Parkway to Sandusky Street – CR 236 will be closed to through traffic from Lakeview Parkway to Sandusky Street.
FRONT STREET –Main Street to East Street – Front Street will be closed to through traffic from Main Street to East Street for curb replacement and resurfacing.
BLANCHARD STREET – Sixth Street to Blanchard Avenue – Blanchard Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Sixth Street to Main Cross Avenue.
Motorists are advised to avoid these areas if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
