City of Findlay issued the following announcement on Sep. 28.

The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city. The status of some of the projects is weather and contractor schedule permitting. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from September 28, 2020 to October 2, 2020.

SIXTH STREET - Brookside Drive to Main Street – Sixth Street will be closed to through traffic from Brookside Drive to Main Street. Access to the businesses and residents on Sixth Street between Blanchard Street and Washington Ave. will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property.

CR 236 – Lakeview Parkway to Sandusky Street – CR 236 will be closed to through traffic from Lakeview Parkway to Sandusky Street.

LINCOLN STREET – Blanchard Street to East Street – Lincoln Street will be closed at the CSX Railroad Tracks. Access to the Businesses and residents between Blanchard Street and East Street will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property.

FRONT STREET – Main Street to East Street – Front Street will be closed to through traffic from Main Street to East Street.

BLANCHARD STREET – Sixth Street to Blanchard Avenue – Blanchard Street will be closed to through traffic from Sixth Street to Blanchard Avenue during working hours.

BLANCHARD STREET – Blanchard Avenue to Sandusky Street – Blanchard Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Blanchard Avenue to Sandusky Street.

Motorists are advised to avoid these areas if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
