CITY OF FINDLAY: Construction Project Update Week of 10/26/2020

City of Findlay issued the following announcement on Oct. 26.

The City of Findlay is performing numerous construction projects throughout the city. The status of some of the projects is weather and contractor schedule permitting. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from October 26, 2020 through October 30, 2020.

CR 236 – Tiffin Avenue to Lakeview Parkway – CR 236 will be limited to one way in the southbound direction from Tiffin Avenue to Lakeview Parkway for the CR 236 Widening Project. Access to the businesses and residents between Tiffin Avenue and Lakeview Parkway will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property.

LINCOLN STREET – Blanchard Street to East Street – Lincoln Street will be closed at the CSX Railroad Tracks for installation of a new gas line. Access to the businesses and residents between Blanchard Street and East Street will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property.

BLANCHARD STREET – South Street to Tiffin Avenue – Blanchard Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from South Street to Tiffin Avenue for curb replacement and resurfacing. Access to the businesses and residents between South Street and Tiffin Avenue will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property.

COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE – Glen Road to Glen Road – Country Club Drive will be closed to through traffic from Glen Road to Glen Road for Landslide Repair. Access to residents between Glen Road and Glen Road will be maintained if no other access is available to the respective property.

Motorists are advised to avoid these areas if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
