Hardin County ranked 69th in Ohio for resident earnings in 2018

Hardin County ranked 69th among counties in Ohio by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Hardin County residents was $24,301 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 11,495 households with a population of 31,542.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Delaware County with $45,772 per year after adjusting for inflation – $21,471 more than Hardin County. It had 68,649 households with a population of 197,008.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Athens County with $14,586 per year after adjusting for inflation – $9,715 less than Hardin County. It had 22,620 households with a population of 65,936.
