City of Tiffin recently issued the following announcement.
With early voting starting soon and the primary election a couple months away, the City of Tiffin reminds residents to keep political yard signs off public right of way, including in
public spaces and in the boulevard between the sidewalk and the street. Residents should keep any signage on their private yards.
According to Tiffin Codified Ordinance 1195.01 (b), “No signs, except those posted by a governmental agency with the permission of the City Administrator, may be erected on
public or in the public right of way, except as otherwise expressly permitted in this Sign Code.” The ordinance goes on to stipulate that City of Tiffin employees or law enforcement
officers may remove and dispose of any signs not placed properly.
