The University of Findlay recently issued the following announcement.
University of Findlay students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and the local community joined together last week to support the annual #OilerUpGiveBack 24 Hours of Giving. More
than 500 donors gave over $162,000 to help equip students for meaningful lives and productive careers.
“24 Hours of Giving is a day that shows just how passionate our supporters are about our students and our campus community,” said Brittany Beltz, assistant director of annual
giving and stewardship manager. “We received an overwhelming response across all areas of campus who felt the support of our extended Oiler Nation family. These gifts make an
impact on current and future Oilers, and, for that, we are immensely grateful.”
Matched funds by generous donors and individual gifts help provide students with scholarships, improve program offerings, update technology used in labs and for experiential
learning, and provide a buffer for crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Funding and support went to many areas across UF including, but not limited to, the Findlay Fund,
Findlay Forward Scholarships, and the Emsweller Student Emergency Fund.
