Columbia Gas is performing numerous construction projects throughout the City. The status of some of the projects is weather and contractor schedule permitting. Listed below are some of the projects and the restrictions that result from the ongoing projects. These restrictions are in effect from April 11, 2022, through April 15, 2022.
Sixth Street to E. Yates Avenue - Washington Avenue from Sixth Street to E. Yates Avenue will be closed while this work is being performed. Motorists are advised to avoid this area if possible.
S. MAIN STREET AND LIMA AVENUE INTERSECTION – South Main Street will have a lane shift and maintain one lane of traffic in each direction at the Lima Avenue Intersection. Lima Street will be closed at Main Street. Columbia Gas will be installing a new main line and services.
Motorists are advised to avoid these areas if possible. Short delays are expected in these areas over the next week.
