University of Findlay Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will perform a concert titled “Classics Old and New” on May 1, 2022, at 7 p.m. in the Winebrenner, TLB Auditorium. Tickets are free but are required. Tickets are available at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts box office at 200 W. Main Cross St., by visiting the MCPA website, or by calling 419-423-2787.
The UF Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will present an evening featuring traditional band music from well-known works from hundreds of years ago, along with more recent pieces that have become classics in their own right. UF students Madison Cifranic and Levi Woode will be featured as soloists in this concert. The bands will be under the direction of Wes King, director of bands at the University of Findlay.
