Save the date: The Lima Symphony Orchestra’s free, public Patriotic Pops concert will be held at Ohio Northern University on Saturday, July 2 at 7 p.m. The event will take place on the sculpture mall east of McIntosh Center between Presser and Weber halls.
This family-friendly concert will feature several Independence Day-themed musical selections. The LSO is under the direction of Maestro Andrew Crust.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring lawn chairs, blankets and their favorite picnic food to enjoy the evening. Don’t want to bring your own snacks? No problem! The Inn at Ohio Northern University is offering pre-ordered box meals for purchase. Menu selections include ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, or veggie wraps. All boxed lunches include house-made kettle chips, condiments, and a bottle of water for $13 per meal. Advanced orders are required by July 1 at 5 p.m. Please call 419-772-4266 or 419-772-4112.
