On Wednesday September 14, 2022, Tiffin University will be hosting its fourth annual Fuel the Fire Giving Day – a charitable event where alumni, employees and friends of TU have the chance to show their appreciation for the institution by making a difference in its future. Last year, the University raised $153,641 through 792 donations and hopes to achieve even greater success through this campaign.
“This is an excellent opportunity for people to make a significant impact, no matter what they do or how much they give,” said Mikki King, Director of Annual Giving. “Even the smallest of donations or a shout-out on social media is enough to show others that you care about supporting this wonderful University, which can create a snowball effect. Not only that, but for current students and alums, helping us achieve our goals of innovation and advancement will enhance the value of your own degrees.”
TU is also planning its annual Thank-a-Giver (TAG) Week, to be hosted in tandem with Giving Day. Physical tags with the names of past donors will be placed on the buildings they had a hand in funding – such as residence halls, athletic facilities and classrooms – as a visual reminder of their generosity.
