The City of Tiffin will begin its annual giveaway of compost Saturday, October 1 at the Water Pollution Control Center, 961 North Water Street for city residents. Hours will be 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. seven days a week.
When available, city employees will load pickup trucks and small trailers for the first week, then open up to larger vehicles after that. Mulch and wood chips also are onsite.
