Tiffin Police Department Recognized for Policy and Training Management

Department received Lexipol Connect Gold Award

To maintain a consistent and professional response, the Tiffin Police Department relies on comprehensive, up-to-date policies. Recently, Tiffin Police Department was recognized by Lexipol’s Connect Recognition Program for achieving Gold level for consistently and effectively disseminating policies to officers, issuing timely policy updates as laws change, and ensuring officers are trained on policies.

Tiffin Police Chief David Pauly said, “I’m proud our department was recognized by Lexipol for our commitment to continuous improvement in professionalism. Having strong policies which emphasize the sanctity of life and our commitment to excellence, reinforced through regular training, is crucial to maintaining the high standards the City of Tiffin expects of their law enforcement. The department’s excellence in policy enhances community safety by ensuring consistent and effective response based on the most current legislation.”

Created in 2003 by two attorneys (and former law enforcement officers), Lexipol is the nation’s leading content, policy, and training platform for public safety agencies. Today, Lexipol serve more than 2 million public safety and government professionals with a range of informational and technological solutions.
