Tiffin University to Offer Tuition Discounts for Employees of Partnered Institutions

Effective fall of 2022, Tiffin University will add several of its 10 articulated partner schools throughout the state of Ohio to its employee tuition discount program. This decision comes as part of TU’s ongoing effort to make higher education more accessible, and to encourage the growth and development of its affiliated institutions.

Employees at the following institutions are now able to receive tuition discounts specific to their chosen degree program:

  • Columbus State Community College
  • Cuyahoga Community College
  • Eastern Gateway Community College
  • Edison State Community College
  • Marion Technical College
  • North Central State College
  • Owens Community College
  • Rhodes State College
  • Terra State Community College
  • Washington State Community College
Employees are now entitled to receive $150 off per credit hour for online and extended learning undergraduate programs, $200 off per credit hour for main campus undergraduate programs, $250 off per credit hour for master’s courses and $150 off per credit hour for Ph.D. coursework. This discount cannot be used in combination with any other institutional discounts and/or scholarships.

“Developing and maintaining relationships with two-year institutions has been a long-held, value-driven priority for us, as we believe strongly in making four-year degrees more attainable for all who desire them,” said Dr. Amy Wood, Senior Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success. “At TU, we believe in helping others further their education and this is a perfect example of a mutually beneficial relationship.”

“By offering a discount to our articulated partners, it further improves our relationship with them,” explained Cassie Paas, Assistant Director of Transfer, Articulation and Corporate Partnerships. “It allows them to gain a better understanding of our enrollment processes and how our courses are offered. Employees who take advantage of this opportunity are able to feel empowered as they pursue essential work-related skills that make them more valuable, marketable and promotable.”
