The University of Findlay Women's Soccer team traveled to Tiffin University to take on the Dragons on Wednesday Oct 12. The Oilers looks to advance a 6-4-2 overall record and a 5-3-1 record in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
The Oilers started the game off strong with their first goal coming off the foot of senior Madison Mlsna in the 13th minute of play. Fellow senior Alyssa Stark recorded the assist.
The Oilers added to their lead in the 26th minute when freshmen Sydney Noble assisted sophomore Ellie Janszen to give Findlay a 2-0 lead.
Findlay would continue their scoring run in the 63rd minute as freshmen Payton Miller beat the goal keeper off an assist from junior Ellie Tischler
Freshmen Audrey Gibson-Zweifel started in goal for the Oilers. She would record 3 saves in her 5th career shutout.
With the win the Oilers advance to 7-4-2 on the season and 6-3-1 in the G-MAC. The women will be back on the pitch on Saturday Oct 15 at DeHaven so senior day starting at 4PM.
