Tiffin University's women's golf team cracked the Top 25 in the Mizuno WGCA 2022 Division II poll.
Tiffin placed 22nd in the poll and was one of only two GMAC teams making the poll. Findlay came in ranked 6th.
The ranking matches the ranking recently announced by Golfstat. That ranking is one of the best ever for a TU women's golf team, eclipsed only by the November 2020 ranking of 16th. That ranking came in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic when many Division II programs were still not competing. This year's mark comes against a fully competitive NCAA Division II field.
Tiffin University's women's golf team reached another historic milestone in 2021-22, qualifying for the NCAA National Championships for the first time as a team. The team earned selection with a third-place finish at the East Regional in Kansas, Missouri. The Dragons finished 18th at the National Championships.
The Dragons have competed in five matches so far this season, placing third at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite, fourth at the Ferris State Fall Invitational, and fifth at the Beall Fall Classic.
