The University of Findlay Men's Soccer team traveled to Nashville on Oct 20 to take on the Trevecca Nazarene University. The Oilers would look to improve an 8-6-1 overall record and their 6-5-1 record in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
Findlay would take an early 1-0 lead in the 7th minute of play when sophomore Maciej Gaszynski assisted fellow sophomore Christian Palushaj for his 8th goal of the season.
The Trojans would tie the game up at 1 goal a piece at the 22 minute mark.
Trevecca would tack on another goal in the 70th minute to give them a 2-1 lead.
The Oilers could not stage a comeback as they take the 2-1 loss.
Senior Andrew Boulton started in goal for the Oilers and recorded 5 saves in the contest.
With the loss the Oilers drop to 8-7-1 on the season and 6-6-1 in the G-MAC. Findlay will be back at home on Saturday Oct 22 when they take on the Ashland Eagles at DeHaven at 4 PM for their senior night and last game of the regular season.
