Leaf Bag Collection Begins Oct. 31

Leaves must be placed at curb by 7 a.m. for pickup

The City of Tiffin’s leaf bag collection for residents begins Monday, Oct. 31. The program is expected to last through Friday, Nov. 25, this year.

Residents are asked to have leaves placed AT THE CURB BY 7 A.M. according to the below schedule. Public Works personnel will only pick up leaves contained in clear City leaf bags, available at many area grocery and convenience stores.

The weekly schedule for pickup is broken down by quadrants:

  • Monday – East of Washington St and north of Market St (northeast quadrant)
  • Tuesday – West of Washington St and north of Market St (northwest quadrant)
  • Wednesday – West of Washington St and south of Market St (southwest quadrant)
  • Thursday – East of Washington St and south of Market St (southeast quadrant)IMAGE OF COLLECTION QUADRANTS
The City of Tiffin asks residents to help our Public Works team members by avoiding excessively heavy bags and non-leaf material. Residents who wish to work on their own timeline may consider using a mower to mulch their leaves, or dropping off loose leaves at the Water Pollution Control Center, 961 N. Water St., seven days a week from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

For any questions, please call the Public Works Department at (419) 448-5430.
