The Heidelberg University men's soccer team hosted Capital University Wednesday, but was unable to muster any offense, resulting in a 6-0 defeat.
Heidelberg falls to 0-16-1 (0-8 OAC) while Capital improves to 4-9-2 (3-4-1 OAC).
In the first half of action, the visitors found the back of the net twice after capitalizing on Heidelberg miscues. The first goal came in the 14th minute while goal number two came in the 26th.

Heidelberg's best opportunity came in the first minute of the second half. Harrison Burge broke down the left side and tried to beat the Capital goalkeeper with a shot toward the back post. However, the goalkeeper was able to kick it away with his heel.
The second half of action saw the Comets net four more goals that finalized the 6-0 defeat. Heidelberg goalkeeper Sigurd Ilestad had some incredible saves in the half, but none more incredible than the diving save in the 53rd minute.
Ilestad tied his season high saves with 13 on the day.
Heidelberg men's soccer will be at home for their final home game of the season on Saturday as they will play host to conference foe Wilmington at 1 p.m.
