The Heidelberg University Single Reed Day is an annual event open to clarinetists and saxophonists of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. Hosted at Heidelberg University’s School of Music and Theatre, this exciting event features guest artist masterclasses, workshops, a guest artist recital, exhibitors, vendors, and a combined Single Reed Choir ensemble. Each year, a world-class clarinetist and saxophonist are featured as special guest artists.

Our event will take place on Saturday March 25, 2023 in Brenneman Music Hall at Heidelberg University’s beautiful campus.
- 8:00am-8:30am: Checkin (lobby) + warmup (Ohl)
- 8:30am-10:00am: Full Single Reed Choir rehearsal (Ohl)
- 10:15am-12:00pm: Sax artist masterclass (Ohl) and clarinet artist workshop (Pancoast)
- 12:00pm-1:30pm: Lunch + exhibitors
- 1:30pm-2:30pm: Combined Artist recital
- 2:45pm-4:30pm: Sax artist workshop (Pancoast) and clarinet artist masterclass (Ohl)
- 4:45pm-5:30pm: Full Single Reed Choir rehearsal, group photo (Ohl)
- 5:30pm: Final Concert and farewell
