Registration for camps opens in April

Get ready for another fun-filled summer with the Tiffin Parks and Recreation Department! Pool and shelter reservations are open now and sign-ups for day camps will start at 9 a.m. April 5.

Last year, the department partnered with SportsMan Parks and Recreation Software to provide registration services for parks programs and facility rentals. The site is live now for shelter rentals and pool passes by visiting https://tiffinparks.activityreg.com.

To view the list of Youth Camps for the summer, visit https://tiffinparks.activityreg.com/selectactivity_t2.wcs. Most camps have a fee, and all registration will be done online. Families are encouraged to visit the site and create an account prior to sign-up. Families that registered last year should already have an account, but are also encouraged to login ahead of sign-up to update any information.

Also, registration for adult sand volleyball leagues is already open, and can also be accessed at the link above.

The City of Tiffin pool is open daily May 29-Aug. 13. Pool membership is $10 per person for the season and $5 for a single day pass for pool users ages 3 and older. Membership is preferred online through credit card.

Families can also rent the pool for parties or events on Saturdays and Sundays for a fee of $150 for up to 25 swimmers (rates increase with more swimmers). Visit the website for more information or to book a reservation.

Finally, Tiffin Parks and Recreation is seeking seasonal help for all areas: life guards, park maintenance and day camp counselors. For more information or to fill out an application, visit www.tiffinohio.gov/employment.

Parks and Recreation Director Bryce Kuhn said, “We’re so excited to have everyone out at our parks this summer! We look forward to seeing you at our camps, in the pool and just enjoying the great outdoors!”
