Hancock County in Ohio sees 62.5% decrease in number of professional licenses issued in week ending March 23

There were three professional licenses issued in Hancock County in the week ending March 23, 2024 in Ohio, according to the eLicense Ohio Professional Licensure System.

This is a 62.5% decrease from the previous week ending March 16, 2024.

Starting and managing a small business in Ohio is not an easy task. Nearly $172 billion is paid to employee salaries and more than 72,924 businesses declare bankruptcy every year.

A Congressional Research Service study found small firms accounted for about 63 percent or two-thirds of new private-sector jobs in the U.S.
