State Rep. Anita Somani (D-Dublin) announced today that the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) has approved economic development proposals, including expansion projects by Husky Marketing and Supply Company and Sarnova HC, LLC.
“I am extremely grateful that the Ohio Tax Credit Authority has supported these expansion projects in the City of Dublin,” said Rep. Somani. “These projects not only bring economic growth to the community but continue to ensure that Central Ohio is a great place to live, work, and run a business.”
Husky Marketing and Supply Company plans to create 115 full-time positions, generating more than $14 million in new annual payroll as part of its expansion project in Dublin. Husky oversees sales, marketing, and logistics for the Cenovus Lima and Oregon gas and oil refineries. The proposed project will establish a North American headquarters for the company. TCA approved a 2.321 percent, nine-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Sarnova HC, LLC aims to create 19 full-time positions, generating $2.9 million in new annual payroll with its new location in Dublin. Sarnova provides medical equipment products, services, and technology solutions for national emergency care providers, hospitals, educational institutions, businesses, and government agencies. The proposed project includes acquiring and renovating an office building in Dublin to accommodate growth of shared services professional teams. TCA approved a 1.557 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
All project proposals reviewed by the Ohio TCA are expected to result in more than $65 million in new payroll and spur $523 million in investments across Ohio.
