Congressman Bob Latta has announced that his office will hold two informational meetings for students and families from Ohio's Fifth Congressional District. These sessions are intended to provide information on the U.S. Military Service Academy nomination and appointment process.

The first meeting is scheduled for October 21, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the Transportation and Community Center located at 40 East Avenue, Elyria, Ohio. The second meeting will take place on October 23, 2024, also at 7 p.m., at Owens Community College's Findlay-area Campus in the Education Center, Conference Room 111.

These events offer potential candidates an opportunity to learn about the congressional nomination process and meet with representatives from various U.S. military academies: "U.S. Military Academy at West Point," "U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis," "U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs," "U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point," and "U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London."
