"It was an honor to nominate these students from Ohio’s Fifth District to attend one of our U.S. Military Service Academies," said Latta. "I thank each and every student for stepping up to serve our country, and I know they will do well as they embark on this new journey."
The recognized students include Sarah Connor from Avon who will attend the U.S. Military Academy; Grace Anderson from Norwalk, Jayden Saxton from Fort Jennings, and Connor Bender from Avon Lake who will attend the U.S. Naval Academy; Garrett Cook from Norwalk, John Paul Gray from Findlay, and Charles Knight from Republic who will attend the U.S. Military Academy; and Christian Soltis from North Ridgeville who will attend the U.S. Air Force Academy.
