The Congressional Energy Engagement Foundation (CEEF) awarded Congressman Bob Latta with the Icon Award for his contributions to energy policy. Congressman Latta, who serves as the chairman of the Energy Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, was recognized for his efforts in promoting American energy initiatives.
CEEF is a non-profit organization focused on enhancing the understanding and adoption of advanced nuclear energy. The foundation's CEO, Michelle Amante-Harstine, praised Latta's leadership: “Congressman Bob Latta has long demonstrated thoughtful leadership and steadfast commitment to advancing America’s energy future. His support for innovation, reliability, and bipartisan engagement makes him a true champion—not only of nuclear energy but for his longstanding support of the mission of the Congressional Energy Engagement Foundation."
In response to receiving the award, Congressman Latta expressed his gratitude: “I’m honored to be recognized by the Congressional Energy Engagement Foundation for my work in advancing American energy policy. The fact is, we need more energy produced here in the United States, not less. I look forward to working with CEEF as I continue to champion legislation to strengthen U.S. energy production and unleash America’s energy potential.”
