The City of Findlay has begun issuing refuse haulers licenses for 2022. Any refuse hauler who is operating in the City of Findlay is required to obtain a refuse haulers license per Chapter 953 of the City of Findlay Code of Ordinances.
Licenses can be obtained at the City of Findlay Mayor’s Office. The cost of the license is $25.00 per vehicle. A copy of the Vehicle Inspection Report and Truck Inspection Form from Hancock Public Health and a Certificate of Liability Insurance with the City of Findlay named as a Certificate Holder is required.
The storage of equipment or vehicles related to refuse hauling business is prohibited in residential districts. The storage of equipment or vehicles related to refuse hauling business is only permitted in Industrial Districts. Violations could result in revocation of the refuse haulers license.
